Is this a real trading platform? ​

No. TickerForge is a mock-trading and analytics platform.
You can simulate trades, test strategies, and track performance using a virtual portfolio — no real money is involved.

At the same time, TickerForge also works as a life-finance simulator: you get a monthly “salary,” can set goals, and manage a personal balance — as if you were practicing financial discipline in real life.

Is the data real? ​

Yes. All analytics, signals, and alerts are computed from real market data:

  • Company fundamentals (from public filings and reputable providers)
  • Stock/ETF prices and volume
  • Macro & index data (economic indicators, yield curves, VIX, DXY, major indices)

Only trade execution and portfolios are simulated (mock trading).

How do I start? ​

Type /start and explore commands like:

  • /AAPL → fundamentals of Apple

What are signals? ​

Signals are automatically generated trade ideas based on:

  • Backtested strategies
  • Trend filters (Low / Medium / High income levels)
  • Fundamentals and technicals

You can:

  • Subscribe to signals and alerts per stock
  • Receive Index Trend Change alerts
  • Follow Index-level signals in the public news channel

What is mock trading? ​

Every user starts with a virtual balance (size depends on plan).
You can:

  • Open and close trades
  • Track realized and unrealized PnL
  • Compete in leaderboards and challenges
  • Learn without risking real money

What is the Life-Finance Simulator mode? ​

Think of it as Cashflow 2.0 — but online, real-time, and based on real markets.
You get:

  • 💰 A monthly “salary” (10% of your initial balance by default)
  • 🏦 Options to save, spend, or invest your capital
  • 🎯 Goals and habits (e.g. save $20k in a year, or set aside 20% of profit monthly)
  • 📆 Monthly rhythms: payday, performance recap, educational prompts
  • 👥 Roles and scenarios (coming soon): play as a beginner worker, family provider, or investor

This way, you don’t just learn trading — you also practice financial discipline, budgeting, and decision-making.

Can I participate in testing for free? ​

Yes. The Free plan is available to everyone with limited features.
You can use the bot, test mock trading, and set up up to 3 subscriptions and 3 stocks per month.

What markets are covered now? ​

  • U.S. equities and ETFs (real fundamentals and trading data)
  • Macro/Index datasets (e.g., HYG, Treasuries, VIX, DXY, yield curves, economic snapshots)

Crypto is not in the first release; we may add it later based on demand.

Is Telegram required to use it? ​

Yes. Currently TickerForge runs entirely through a Telegram bot.
A web dashboard is planned for the future.

Are signals 100% accurate? ​

No. Signals are based on statistical backtests, strategies, and indicators.
Markets are unpredictable — signals are decision support, not financial advice.

No. Everything is fully independent and simulated.
You don’t need to connect a brokerage account or share real portfolio data.

Is my data safe? ​

Yes. We collect minimal information (Telegram username, email for upgrades).
Your trades, ideas, and balances remain private.
